Our company is recognized as one of the most advanced in the world, and it’s fair to say we are the largest manufacturer of solar panels globally. Headquartered in China, we have offices and projects across various regions of the world. In Azerbaijan, we launched our operations about two years ago; prior to that, we operated through distributors. Today, we have official distribution partners in the country, and this year we made the strategic decision to participate in the exhibition in order to establish connections with major companies and further expand our presence in the region. We were previously involved in the Masdar project, where Longi panels were used, and it became a successful example of our contribution to the Azerbaijani market.
We are now witnessing the rapid advancement of the green energy sector in Azerbaijan, including among private enterprises and individual consumers, which opens up tremendous opportunities for future growth.
This is not our first time attending the exhibition in Azerbaijan — we have visited the event several times in the past. However, this year, we decided to set up our own booth. It’s an excellent platform for us to showcase our latest innovations, including the new X10 and Hi-MO 7 solar panels, which are among the most efficient in the world. With an efficiency rate of up to 24.8%, our panels help maintain our leading position in the market.
We view the “Energy and Green Energy” exhibition as one of the most prominent events in the sector, attracting attention even at the highest levels of government. Participating in such a platform gives us the opportunity to engage with top-tier companies and potential partners, broaden our customer network, and reinforce our standing in the renewable energy industry.
Looking ahead, we hope to see an even greater number of green energy companies joining events like this. While Azerbaijan already has major players in the energy sector, such as BP, the solar and wind energy markets are still relatively underrepresented. We believe that increased participation from companies in these areas will accelerate the development of the industry and lead to even greater accomplishments.
