Set up in 1984, CHINT Electric today is a global corporation with operations spanning 140 countries, over 45,000 personnel, and 37 plants around the globe. With 2022 turnover of $22 billion, CHINT joined the top 50 private-owned companies of South Asia and became No.1 in the electrical industry. In the P.R. of China and broader Southeast Asia, CHINT Group owns 36% of the market for electrical equipment up to 1000V and 22% of the entire equipment segment.
We are the recognized leader in the manufacture of low-voltage equipment, solar energy, building and industrial automation, as well as in the development and fabrication of new materials. We in CHINT set up a special division in 2004 to fabricate 6-1150kV rating power generation, transmission and distribution equipment. It was built on the basis of nine large facilities located in China, Europe, and South America.
