The 5th Anniversary Caspian International Energy and Alternative Energy Exhibition, Caspian Power 2015, organized by Iteca Caspian LLC and ITE Group plc started its work on the 2nd of June in the Baku Expo Centre. As is tradition, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has led the opening ceremony of the exhibition and has congratulated participants, guests and organizers of the biggest event of the energy sector in the Caspian region.
In his speech at the opening of the exhibition and conference, President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of the oil and gas industry, the ongoing contracts of the 21st century and the projects implemented in this sector that were of global significance. The President expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the international Caspian Oil and Gas exhibition, for their hard work in this field and for their constant desire to improve this exhibition project.
Mr Alan Yarrow, Lord Mayor of the City of London, read his welcome letter to participants of the exhibition and conference on behalf of Mr David Cameron, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Mr Janusz Pehochinski, Prime Minister of Poland and Adil Abdulmahdi Hassan Shuber, Iraqi Oil Minister both noted the high level of development of modern Azerbaijan and stressed the importance of long-term joint industrial projects for further growth across Europe and Asia.
As the only specialized event in the energy industry, the Caspian Power exhibition has been included in a series of leading energy events by ITE Group plc and it is a proven itself as a brand among industry exhibitions. This event is being held simultaneously alongside the 22nd International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference, Caspian Oil and Gas 2015, which encourages professional cooperation and enhances mutual efficiency. Geographically, participants range from Azerbaijan to Belarus to Romania to Turkey and to many other countries. Exhibitors include leading technology providers from the energy sector, such as: Alce Elektrik, Ardich Elektrik, Electroalfa, Germen Electronic, Goknur, Nobel Electric, Schneider Electric, STP, Vitta and the Kozlov Minsk Electrotechnical Plant. Along with commercial companies, the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources will take part in the exhibition.
Automated systems for technical and fiscal energy metering, LEDs, solar panels, LED indicators, lighting devices, a variety of cabling and wiring products, switchgear and distribution equipment, modern energy-saving lamps, transformers, insulators, electrical switches and many more are being presented as part of the exhibition exposition.
Today, Caspian Power 2015 is providing a unique opportunity for mutually beneficial meetings between leading representatives from the electricity industry. It also facilitates an extensive exchange of information on the latest technological and strategic developments in the electric power industry, as well as allowing for the expansion of effective communication and conclusion of prospective contracts.
